Dr. Luna Xu is a board certified ophthalmologist specializing in glaucoma and cataract surgery. She is trained in both minimally invasive glaucoma surgery and in the traditional incisional glaucoma surgeries.
Dr. Xu received her medical degree from the Columbia University Vagelos College of Physicians and Surgeons, and completed her residency at the New York Eye and Ear Infirmary of Mount Sinai. She returned to Columbia to complete a glaucoma fellowship afterwards.
Dr. Xu has published 10+ papers in various prestigious academic journals on topics related to glaucoma, age-related macular degeneration, and thyroid eye disease.
She is a member of the American Academy of Ophthalmology and American Glaucoma Society.
She speaks fluent Chinese and conversational Spanish.
